Is He Really ‘The One’?

Published

on

You’ve been dating him for a while now. You’ve grown as a couple and you’ve even talked about taking the next step – eventually getting married.

But… you and him argue. Some days more than others. The days you argue, you can’t help but think to yourself “is he really the person I’m supposed to be with?” …. “is this right?”

Here’s the tea, sis.

It doesn’t matter.

Yup, I’ve said it! It really, truly, does not matter if he is the right one for you in that moment.

Why would I say such a thing?

Why would I not want you to be with who you’re really meant to be with?

Let’s break it down.

You have two options really:

You stay,

Or you leave.

Are there any other options?

No….

So what sense does it make to sit there worrying about “is he the one?”

Does he have to be “the one” for you to enjoy the time you spend with him and all the memories you have made and will continue to make?

Does he have to be “the one” for you to be happy in this moment?

Now c’mon girl let’s get real.

You can choose to be happy right now.

Regardless of any arguements,

Regardless of any past grudges you’re holding against him,

Regardless if you’re unsure if he’s right for you.

You can be happy right now.

And really… if you choose anything less than being happy and choosing to be happy in this moment,

You’re doing yourself, and the rest of the world, a disservice.

It is your responsibility to find the things you love about the people who are around you, and to focus on those things.

It is NOT your responsibility to try to filter what other’s say to make you feel comfortable.

It is NOT your responsibility to figure out “is he the one?”.

It is NOT your responsibility to have it all figured out in this moment.

When we cling to certainty, we are massively shortcutting ourselves and our abilities to manifest new things into our life.

How can you have certainty and manifest something you’ve never had before?

It’s impossible.

You MUST jump into the unknown *insert Elsa singing here* to manifest what you want that you haven’t experienced yet.

Otherwise, you’re just telling the universe over and over,

“I’m scared of things that I do not know. I’m scared of uncertainty. I don’t trust you and I don’t trust myself.”

How can you expect the universe to give you all of the magnificent things that you’ve already asked for, if you’re literally telling it “Yeah I want that…. but I don’t trust that you’ll take care of me when I jump into the unknown.”

It doesn’t work like that.

You can’t have both.

So which is more important to you?

Living the colorful, vibrant, advednturous life of your dreams…

Or staying with what is already familiar to you?

You decide.
