In her first interview with Manifest Easy, Bianca Mareus discusses how she overcame one of the toughest times in her life and came out winning, and how she is determined to be successful no matter what.

What is the best thing that has ever happened to you?
“At my track and field districts I got first place in high jump and made it to regionals my senior year of high school. I missed practice that whole week because I was sick, so I was so shocked I did that good.”
What is your favorite part about being a woman?
“The clothes we get to wear. Women’s clothing is so beautiful – ESPECIALLY the rare and unique ones that you probably will only find on a runway.”
Who is your favorite role model?
“My favorite role model is Naomi Campbell. She’s the only reason I wanna become a model to this day.
She’s flawless. Has a beautiful walk. Beautiful personality… If I ever met her in person, I just might cry.”
What is your dream in life?
“My dream in life is to be known. Everywhere.”
When you’re feeling down, what do you like to do to bring yourself back into good spirits?
“I like to listen to music when I’m feeling down. Rap only. I hate slow sad music because it only gets me more depressed.. so what’s the point?”
What makes your soul light up?
“Fashion makes my soul light up. Seeing people come up with their own clothes and brand is just amazing to me. I wanna do the same, just haven’t got the time to get around to it yet.”
What is your favorite outfit to wear at the moment?
“My favorite outfit to wear right now is a jacket and skirt set I got from Hollister. The print is a green snake skin and it just looks so bomb.”
What is your “happy place”?
“My happy place is my bed. No matter how I’m feeling… When I lay down I instantly feel better.”
What’s most important to you?
“Being financially stable is what’s important to me. I want a lot of things In life. Can’t have all of that without working hard for it first.
Doing no matter what to get there.”
What’s the funniest moment you’ve ever experienced?
To be honest… I haven’t experienced any funny moments for a while. Life’s been tough for awhile now.
What’s your favorite thing that you’ve manifested into your life so far?
“I’ve been trying to get noticed on social media and it’s FINALLY happening. I’m not at the goal I wanna be yet with my followers but it’s slowly increasing and that’s all I could ever ask for.”
If you had the chance to talk to your younger self, what would you tell them?
“Stay away from boys.”
What’s something that you love about yourself?
“My hair. For me personally I think it makes me more attractive. “
What’s your favorite meal? Gimme allll the juicy details!!!
“My favorite meal is a Haitian meal my mom makes with pig, plantains, and pikliz (not pickles). It’s called griot and it’s amazing.”
Do you meditate?
“To be honest, no I don’t, but I actually should start. I’ve been wayyy too stressed and I think it would help.”
What is something you’re really proud of accomplishing?
I’m very proud that I graduated. Senior year was not easy and I was going through a very deep depression, so I honestly thought I wasn’t going to make it.
But God always comes through, no matter what.”
What do you want to be remembered as?
“Someone who wasn’t afraid to do what she felt was right. No matter what people thought about her.
Cause at the end of the day… Other people’s opinions aren’t the things that are getting me paid. So why worry about it?
