What is the best thing that has ever happened to you?

“The best thing to ever have happened to me was being accepted for my dream job which is to work as a flight attendant and get to travel the world while doing what I love.”

What is your favorite part about being a woman?

“My favourite part of femininity is knowing the truth of being a woman. Knowing that we are considered the weakest sex, it is always the pillars of force that keep this world together.

Knowing that we are considered as emotional beings, we choose logic and diplomacy because men are devoted to anger, revenge and war. Knowing that kindness and empathy are signs of strength, not weakness.”

Who is your favorite role model?

“My mom is for sure my number one role model but industry-wise, I have to go with Rihanna…

She is such a driven woman, she knows what she wants when it comes to her business.”

What is your dream in life?

“My dream in life is to be able to accomplish my goals; which would be to travel the world while doing what I love, and being able to be successful and own my own business.”

When you’re feeling down, what do you like to do to bring yourself back into good spirits?

“When I’m feeling down I usually lean forward painting or drawing because it helps me process the emotions that are going to my mind.

If I am not doing that – face timing with a friend also helps… it changes my mind also.”

What makes your soul light up?

“Well, I am very passionate about travelling. I started from a young age with my mom, and since then I’ve been discovering new places and learning about the culture –

I’ve also been picking up new languages which is something I also love doing. You can probably say that my passion is learning.”

What is your favorite outfit to wear at the moment?

“I probably would have to say my favourite outfit to wear at the moment would be a black or dark wash pair of skinny jeans with a white, black or burgundy bodysuit and a jean jacket. I sometimes wear a bandana on my head also as an accessory. I also usually wear white or black Vans shoes.”

What is your “happy place”?

“Physically I have to say my happy place would be amusement parks – I have no idea why it is but when I’m at an amusement park I feel like a child again… it’s like living your childhood all over again except now as an adult and you get to ride every rollercoaster because you’re tall enough.

Mentally, my happy place would be on a beach hearing the ocean and the waves hitting the sand because it’s a very calming sound.”

What’s most important to you?

“Family has to be the most important thing to me. I was raised by a big family. My family means the world to me because they always have my back and I will always have theirs.

I will always have their support, I know I can fall back on them when in need – unconditional love and forever friends.”

What’s the funniest moment you’ve ever experienced?

“The funniest thing to have happened to me would be me working at Bluesfest a musical festival. I was working with Snoop Dogg and we were getting stuff ready for his dressing room and during that time he was just arriving to the festival and I had the task to go get him

…and when I was on my way to get him I ended up tripping and falling right in front of his car door and he rushed outside to see if I was okay – which I was, but it was definitely a funny moment and embarrassing.”

What’s your favorite thing that you’ve manifested into your life so far?

“My favourite thing that I’ve been able to manifest in my life so far is by hoping for the opportunity to meet new people that excel in their crafts, thus inspire me to push myself in my field of work.

I also wished to be able to work with artists which was accomplished with working in festivals.”

If you had the chance to talk to your younger self, what would you tell them?

“If I could talk to my younger self I would probably tell them to go for their dreams and not let anyone stop them from doing it…

…Because in life there are haters, and there will always be.

But on the other side of that, we should always keep moving forward and keep learning because in life knowledge is key.”

What’s something that you love about yourself?

“Honestly appearance wise I have to say that I love my facial features. [Non-] physically I would have to go with my personality I am a very bubbly, free-spirited person.”

What’s your favorite meal? Gimme allll the juicy details!!!

“My favourite meal would have to be some Caribbean jerk chicken with rice and beans, some coleslaw on the side, and some fried plantain.

This meal is wonderful and forget about saying that you’re hungry after because this meal will fill you for days!! This is a traditional meal served in most Caribbean countries. But if not that, I can eat some Roti’s also which is curried chicken, goat, duck, beef, conch or shrimps – it also consists of potatoes and spices and it’s just delicious.”

Do you meditate?

“I do not meditate actually but my thoughts on it are indifferent- if it’s something that helps you relax and stuff it’s great then…

I have many friends that meditate but for me, I’ve tried it and I just had a hard time concentrating because I had too much on my mind.”

What is something you’re really proud of accomplishing?

“I’m very proud that I graduated in the programs I did because without that I don’t think I would be able to do what I do today. I am grateful for that and proud that I pushed myself to the finish line and I’m happy I also had my family to help me with that.”

What do you want to be remembered as?

“I want to be remembered as a great daughter, granddaughter, friend, aunt and person in general – but I also want to be remembered as an accomplished person who was able to live her dream and make everything happen like I had planned.”
